THE BEAUTIFUL MOTHERS

The Beautiful Mothers craft a unique blend of midwest punk and hard-hitting rock that pulses and swirls with rhythmic explosiveness.  Oddly enough, through a collection of various studio recordings, this Japanese import finally captures the thundering sound and powerful pace of the Mothers' live shows.  The last three songs come from the Seattle Garage Session with DJ Macky Ramone, including two songs from Japanese band Sparks and Twinky.

Starring Eric Balaban, Rob Wheeler, and Joey Lazerhead

The first 500 LPs are pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Included with the LP is a CD of the tracks. First 30 LP orders through our website also get a copy of the DVD from the 2005 BUZZ BUZZ Japan tour! (note: sleeve only for the CD and DVD)

THE BEAUTIFUL MOTHERS - "Chikara"

Heavy, off-kilter, art-damaged HC that reminds me  of grunge acts like SOUNDGARDEN when they released records on SST. Imagine UNWOUND mixed with UNSANE and a singer similar to David Yow during his time in the JESUS LIZARD. Noisy and heavy. Noisy and heavy. Noisy and heavy. Yeah. This is good. (VL)
